Spelling Bee

The Christian Home Educators of the Visalia Area-CHEVA is proud to announce their participation in the 2009/2010 National Spelling Bee. The date of this event will be Saturday, January 24 from 10:00 am till 12:00 pm at Tulare Community Church in the activity center at 1820 North Gem Street in Tulare. CHEVA had graciously opened this event to all Christian Homeschooling Families in Tulare County. Spellers eligible must be in the 4th through 8th grade. The Winner and Runner-Up from the CHEVA Home School Spelling Bee will receive a certificate and a subscription to student.britannica.com - a $69.95 value. They will also be eligible and enrolled to compete in the Tulare County Spelling Bee. This is a wonderful opportunity for the home school community and we look forward to spelling with you.
